ABOUT SARAH


Sarah King hails from Carmel, Indiana, the roundabout capital of the world. She was homeschooled through seventh grade, starting public school in eighth, theatre a constant outlet all throughout. She is currently thriving at Ball State University, studying Directing and Tech Theatre. Sarah is an avid reader and a self-proclaimed film critic. She has a deep passion for any stories that break the mold and leave you changed. She first directed as a senior in high school and found that through directing, you could tell those kind of stories. Sarah also has a passion for the technical side of theatre, minoring in tech theatre. She has a particular interest in costumes and scenic design.
Recent credits include Rosemary & Time (Ball State University), Route 84 House Fire: 3 Miles from Train Tracks, 9 from the Nearest Hydrant (Ball State University), Stage Door (Ball State University), A Chorus Line (Ball State University), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Ball State University), and she is currently beginning the process of directing her first full length production next fall.
